Ready Utilities ("we", "us") operates RandomKeyGenerator.com ("the Service", "this site"). This page explains what data we collect, and, just as importantly for a key generator, what we deliberately do not collect.

The short version

Everything you generate on this site (passwords, passphrases, encryption keys, UUIDs, API keys, random strings) is created by JavaScript running in your own browser using the Web Crypto API. That output is never transmitted to our servers, never logged, and never stored anywhere by us. Refreshing or closing the page discards it completely on our end. We simply never had it.

Information we collect

• Usage data: standard web server/analytics data such as pages visited, approximate location (country/region level), device/browser type, and referring URLs, if and when an analytics tool is enabled on this site.
• Cookies: used for analytics and, if applicable in the future, advertising personalization. This site does not currently run any live advertising.
• Tool input/output: the values you generate using the tool on this site (passwords, keys, UUIDs, etc.) are processed entirely client-side in your browser and are not transmitted to us or stored by us in any form.

How we use information

To operate and improve the site and understand aggregate usage patterns. If display advertising is enabled in the future (this site currently reserves ad space but does not run live ads), we would use it to help keep the tool free, and would update this policy before doing so.

Third-party services

We may use privacy-focused analytics and, if introduced later, an ad network such as Google AdSense or affiliate tracking links. Any such third party may set its own cookies per its own privacy policy. This policy will be updated whenever a new third-party service is added.

GDPR (EU/EEA users)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time. Because this site's core tool never transmits or stores what you generate, there is very little personal data to request in the first place.

CCPA (California users)

California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal data.
